tin lover peacock. Swoon ladies, swoon.
Lovely to see this gorgeous peacock. We now have 5 who are in various new growth mode after they lost their train feathers at Christmas here in Australia. The 3 peahens are happier when the males aren't in full plumage since they aren't territorial until courting time in Spring here (September) and everyone gets along better until then. Males don't have full length plumage (over a yard long) until they are at least 3 years of age. But they don't realize that and can display even when tiny and it is hilarious to see them display 2 tiny feathers at age 2 weeks. :)
