Today I decided to try out an idea that's been stuck in my head since yesterday. I have several small balls of size 70 threads in various variegated colors.
I wondered what would happen if I tatted with two strands of the same variegated threads held together.

The result is a very soft blended effect that I really like. I'm thinking this effect would show off well on an edging or small doily.
