The Little Red Hat That Could

It has taken me a few days, but I am happy to say that I was able to finish the Red Hat by Gina. I talked before about the extra work I needed to do to make this hat properly. You can read about it HERE. It has been a wonderful little challenge and I am happy with the new skills that I have learned. The results were well worth the time and patience.

At this stage, the hat reminded me more of the helmet worn by Darth Vader.

They say you never accomplish anything going around in circles. I disagree.

The hat all finished. 

The hat was tatted using Lizbeth size 20 thread and size #7-0 fine neeedle

May little girl has asked if she could have the hat for her Barbie who is in need of a summer accessory. I am more then happy to see this hat in use and I do hope my daughter enjoys playing with it.
